Volubilis is an ancient Roman city located about 33 km north of Meknes. This vast archaeological area, covering 40 hectares, is home to some of the best-preserved Roman remains in Morocco. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997, Volubilis offers visitors the opportunity to take a leisurely stroll through its ancient ruins, exploring the forum, basilica, temple of Jupiter, baths, Caracalla Arch, and admiring the splendid mosaics.
