Upon arrival at Mohammed V Airport in Casablanca, transfer to your hotel and start your tour of the city, an important commercial and port hub in Morocco. In the afternoon, depart for Rabat, the country’s capital. Here, you’ll explore the medina, admire the Hassan Tower, and visit the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, which houses the tomb of the king and his two sons. You’ll also see the impressive walls of Michouar surrounding the Royal Palace. Return to Casablanca for an overnight stay.
Depart for Meknes, known as the “Versailles of Morocco.” We will visit the historic medina, the Jewish Quarter, and the famous Bab Mansour Gate, the main entrance to the city. Next, we’ll head to Volubilis, an ancient Roman city renowned for its ruins, exquisite mosaics, temples, and triumphal arch. We’ll then continue to Moulay Idriss, a sacred city housing the tomb of the founder of Islam in Morocco. Finally, depart for Fes and settle into your riad.
Spend the entire day discovering Fes, the oldest of the imperial cities, founded by Moulay Idriss II. Begin by exploring the historic medieval medina, with its prestigious universities (madrasas), including Bou Inania and Attarine, famous for their beautiful decorations. Visit the Nejjarine Fountain and the Karaouiyne Mosque, a majestic building with 16 naves adorned with stucco and Kufic calligraphy. You’ll also explore the Quranic schools and the bustling markets of Fes. Overnight in a riad.

After breakfast, depart for an excursion through the Atlas Mountains, heading to Erfoud, the gateway to the desert. Along the way, we’ll stop in Midelt to take photos of the spectacular High Atlas Mountains. Continue to Errachidia, a modern urban center, before arriving in Merzouga. Upon arrival at the tented camp, settle into your reserved tent, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight under the stars.
Wake up early to witness the enchanting sunrise over the Merzouga dunes. After breakfast, head towards Tinghir to explore the spectacular Todra Gorge, famous for its towering pink walls. We’ll then continue on to Ouarzazate, passing through the city of roses, Kelaat M’Gouna, and Boumalne, overlooking the Dades Valley, known as the “Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs.” Arrive in Ouarzazate in the evening, check into your riad, and stay overnight.
After breakfast, explore Ouarzazate, known as the “Hollywood of Morocco,” and visit the Taourirt Kasbah, an ancient residence of the Pacha Glaoui. Continue to Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site famous for hosting the filming of numerous movies, including The Mummy, Gladiator, and The Sheltering Sky. Then, depart for Marrakech, crossing the Tizi n’Tichka pass at 2,260 meters above sea level. Arrive in Marrakech and overnight at a riad.
After breakfast, spend the entire day exploring the vibrant city of Marrakech, which blends Berber culture, Arab architecture, and Western influences. Visit the historic Saadian Tombs, the Dar Si Said Museum housed in a 19th-century palace, and the renowned Agdal and Menara Gardens. Admire the Koutoubia Mosque, the city’s most iconic monument, and the Bahia and Badi Palaces. End the day at Jemaa el-Fna Square, famous for its spice vendors, storytellers, snake charmers, fire-eaters, acrobats, and musicians. Return to the riad and overnight.
After breakfast, depart for Essaouira, a city founded in 1184 and nicknamed “the Gateway to the Sea.” This stunning coastal city is an architectural wonder, with its charming harbor and historic walls. Take some time to relax and enjoy the beauty of the sandy bay stretching southward and the green hills rising on the eastern horizon. After the visit, return to Marrakech for dinner and overnight at your hotel.
Return to Casablanca for your airport transfer and departure.
