Enjoy the landscapes of the Rif Mountains and visit the blue city of Chefchaouen. Meet the Barbary apes in the Azrou Cedar forest and take in panoramic views of the Erg Chebbi desert. Experience a camel ride in the Merzouga dunes and watch the sunset over the sand dunes. You can also try sandboarding and enjoy a hearty dinner and party around the campfire with Berber drums. Spend the night camping at Zahra Desert Camp. Later, visit the Atlas Studio and Taourirt Kasbah in Ouarzazate, as well as the UNESCO World Heritage Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. Finally, enjoy spectacular views of the Atlas Mountains landscapes.

DAY 1 : TANGIER – CHEFCHAOUEN

We will meet you in the port or your hotel and we travel to the small fortress town called Chefchaouen. Its buildings and houses are all painted in blue and white and it is one of the most beautiful towns in Rif mountains. You will have free time to explore Chefchaouen by yourself. We spend this night in local riad in medina.

DAY 2 : CHEFCHOUEN – VOLUBILIS – MEKNES – FES

After breakfast, we will continue our tour to the archaeological site of Volubilis, where you can explore the famous Roman ruins. Then, we will head to Meknes to visit the former Imperial city and its most interesting monuments. In the late afternoon, we will reach Fes and explore its medina, where we will stay overnight in a local riad.

DAY 3 : FES – MERZOUGA DESERT

After breakfast, we will drive from Fes to Ifrane, a beautiful mountain village often referred to as the “Switzerland of Morocco.” We will stop near the cedar forest in the Middle Atlas Mountains, where you can watch monkeys enjoying their freedom. We will continue our trip to Azrou, a Berber village located in the largest cedar forest in Morocco. Next, we will visit the city of Midelt, known for its minerals and cool weather during the summer. We’ll travel along Ziz Valley, then visit Erfoud, famous for its fossil products. In Rissani, we can explore the local souk and try Berber pizza. Later, we will arrive in Merzouga, where we will spend the night in a desert hotel, just in front of the dunes.

DAY 4 : MERZOUGA DESERT ‘ TODRA GORGES – DADES GORGES

Early morning we will watch the sunrise from the high dune and then we continue camel trekking to our hotel in Merzouga. After breakfast and shower we continue our private Morocco tour towards Rissani and Erfoud where we can visit fossil marble factory and shops. Then we pass Tinjdad , Tinghir and our next destination will be the Todra Gorge. It is a paradise for climbers and you will have free time to discover it by yourself. In the afternoon we continue to the Dades Valley where we will have dinner and overnight stay in local riad/hotel.

DAY 5 : DADES GORGES – OUARZAZATTE – MARRAKECH

Today we depart towards Marrakech, visiting Ouarzazate, where we can tour the movie studios and also visit the local kasbah. We will continue our private Morocco tour to Ait Ben Haddou to explore its famous village and kasbah. Many famous movies have been filmed here. Then, we will continue driving through the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka mountain pass. After we reach Marrakech, we will drop you off at your hotel or the airport.
