Itinerary; Best Small Group desert Tours & Marrakech to Fes

Day 1: Marrakech – Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Oaurzazate – Dades Gorge

Your driver will pick you up at 08:00 am, and you will start 3 days desert tour from Marrakech to Fes across the Tizi-n-Tichka Atlas pass, with far-reaching views across the mountains, to the traditional High Atlas Berber villages. Then you continue to visit the UNESCO World Heritage site and have lunch at one of the restaurants at the foothils of the Kasbahs, then we continue to Dades gorges through Skoura and rose valley, we will spend the night in a traditional kasbah in Dades gorges.

Day 2: Dades Gorge – Todra Gorge – Merzouga Desert

The tour resumes after having breakfast . We’ll travel through Dades Valley where the sand castles and monkey toes (an amazing rock formation) are a points of attraction. Before we reach Todra Gorges, will stop at Tinghir to enjoy the wonderful and ancient Berber villages. In Todra Gorges (the highest and narrowest gorges in Morocco), we may experience hiking. Todra Gorges is one of the top choices for rock climbers. Next place that will be visited before Rissani is the town of Erfoud where you explore the interesting fossils. The tour proceeds doward Merzouga’s town where you’ll find camels ready for you to ride. We’ll head to camp in the Sahara desert where you’ll enjoy supper in a nomad tent.

Day 3: Merzouga – Errachida – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes

Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the sunrise on top of the dune in the Sahara Desert, then have your breakfast. After these beautiful moments, you will ride your camel back to the hotel where you can take a shower. You will depart for Errachidia via Erfoud, Aoufous, and the Ziz Valley, stopping for a panoramic view of the Aoufous Oasis in the Tafilalet region. Continue to Midelt across the Tizi N’Talghamt pass and take a lunch break. After lunch you will be driven to Fes (the medieval city) via the Cedar forest near Azrou and the mountain of the middle Atlas with the possibility to see the Barbary apes (monkies). You may have a stop in Ifrane (the Switzerland of Morocco) before arriving to Fes. Drop off in Fes.
