Itinerary; Best 6 day desert tour from Marrakech
1 : MARRAKECH – TELOUETE – OUARZAZATE
After breakfast, we will start our tour driving to Telouete via the high Atlas mountain Tizi-N-tichka which reachs 2,260 m. We will visit another Kasbah in the same area, called Pacha Glaoui, there we’ll have lunch. In afternoon we will take the way that tracks to Ait Benhaddou Kasbah, crossing Ounila valley with its berber villages, and Continuing to Ouarzazate.
DAY 2 : OUARZAZATE – DRAA VALLEY – ZAGORA
After breakfast, we will depart to Agdez crossing the anti-Atlas at 1660 altitude, continuing towards Zagora via Draa valley with its procession of palm trees, while passing by many typical Berber villages. Upon arrival to Zagora , we will have lunch in a restaurant . In the afternoon we’ll drive to Tamgroute, where we will visit old Koranic library, then continue to the kasbah underground and the Manufacture of pottery. Return To Zagora for dinner and night in a hotel.
DAY 3 : ZAGORA – TAZARINE – ALNIF – RISSANI – MERZOUGA
After breakfast , we Depart to Merzouga, passing again via Draa valley joining a track which carries out towards the village of Taftechna and the village of Ait Ouaazique with its engravers repestres , and Berber village called Tazarine, continuing to Alnif , where we will have lunch . After lunch we continue towards the impressive dunes of Merzouga ( Erg Chebbi) via Rissani. Then we will switch from our vehicle to camels. We’ll be taken on a camel ride on the dunes to enjoy the sunset. Our dinner and overnight tonight will be in traditional nomad bivouac in the heart of the dunes under thousand of stars and moon light.
DAY 4 : MERZOUGA – ERFOUD – TOUROUG – TINJDAD – TINGHIR
We will wake up early in the morning, in order to admire the sunrise and return on camels to the bottom of the dunes. After breakfast, we will take a track which carries out towards the town of Erfoud.We will cross the palm plantation of Touroug, heading to Tinjdad where we will have lunch . In the afternoon we continue towards the Todra Gorges, before returning to Tinghir for Dinner and night in a hotel.
DAY 5 : TINGHIR – BOUMALNE – DADES GORGES – SKOURA – OUARZAZATE
After breakfast, we will walk about one hour in the palm plantation of Tinghir, then depart for Boumalne towards the Dades Gorges and have lunch in the place. In the afternoon return via Dades valley to the Kasbah of Ait Youl. After the Kasbah visit we will take a track which crosses the rose valley and carries out towards the roses capital of Kelaat Mgouna, then drive to Skoura to visit Amredhyle Kasbah, after the visit we continue to Ouarzazate for dinner and night in a hotel
DAY 6 : OUARZAZATE – MARRAKECH
After breakfast, we’ll depart on a visit to town of Ouarzazate, then continue to Kasbah of Taourirt and cinema studio, before we drive back to Marrakesh via Tizi N-Tichka high mountains, where we will end the tour. hoping you enjoyed
