Itinerary of 3 Day Desert Tour from Marrakech to Erg Chegaga

Day 1: Marrakech – Ait Benhaddou – Draa Valley – Mhamid

We begin our Erg Chigaga Desert Tour, 3 Days Sahara Trip from Marrakech with a 4 × 4 car, which will take place at 8:30 am from your accommodation in Marrakech. We pass through the High Atlas Promenade, in Tizi-n-Tichka, leading along a beautiful region to reach the World Heritage Site of Ait Ben Haddou, the most famous town of Kasbah in Morocco. Lunch will be in Ouarzazate or Agdez. After lunch, you will cross the Draa Valley with palm trees and ancient kasbahs. The night with dinner will be in a hotel in Zagora.

Day 2: Zagora – Mhamid – Sacred Oasis – Erg Chigaga Dunes.

Our 3 days 2 nights tour to Erg Chigaga continues and after breakfast, our Erg Chigaga desert trip continues to Tamgroute where we visit the famous Koranic library. We will continue until M’Hamid, which is a small village and the last town before we visit the large dunes of Erg Chigaga desert.

We continue our Erg Chigaga Desert Tour – 3 Days Sahara Trip from Marrakech to explroe best of Erg Chigaga dunes and we ride camels to desert camp with dinner and night in a comfortable Berber tents (standard or luxury). We enjoy the golden sunset and we will enjoy Berber drums of the desert.

Day 3: Erg Chigaga Dunes – Foum Zguid – Taznakht – Marrakech.

On the last day our Best Erg Chigaga tour from Marrakech continues and after breakfast in Erg Chigaga camp we departure via the old Paris – Dakar road to Foum Zguid. We cross the dry Iriqui lake, after lunch in the Berber village of Taznakht we continue via Atlas mountains to Marrakech. End of the tour.
