Itinerary; 5 Days Desert Tour from Marrakech to Merzouga
day 1: Marrakech – ait ben haddou – Dades Gorges
Marrakech Desert Tour 5 Days will commence at 8 am, from your Hotel or Riad. We will climb the high Atlas mountains at first, a magnificent view across the road, the valleys, and the inhabitant of the region, you will see women carrying wood, children tending their goats with their parents. We will continue until Ouarzazate, and take a rest for lunch. The road will continue crossing Skoura Oasis, where multiple ancient Kasbahs has been devastated through the years among palm trees. When reaching Kalaat M’gouna, the valley of the roses, we will stop to have a look at the cosmetic articles which are locally-made from the valley’s abundant roses. We will spend a night at The Dades gorges valley.
Day 2 : Dades Gorges– Todra Gorges – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert
After breakfast, return via the Dades Valley until Boumalne in order to continue in direction of Tinghir and the Toudra Gorges, walk in the Gorges and afterwards departure to join Erfoud by Tinjdad Palm grove lunch and the one of Touroug. Break in Erfoud to visit the marble and fossil production workshop and then going by track towards the amazing dunes of Erg Chebbi in order to see the sunset and spend the night in the dunes in camp with camel Trek
Day 3 : Discover Merzouga desert _ 4×4 adventure tour
We woke up before dawn to watch the sunrise. Return to the Hotel in dromedary . Shower and breakfast. We went out to encircle the Erg Chebbi, extension of sand desert where is located the Great Dune of Morocco, of more than 250 meters of altitude, connecting per track with part of the route followed by the old Paris-Dakar, with the mountains bordering Algeria of fund. Stop at the oasis of Tissardmin and continue until a settlement where nomadic know some secrets of her life and customs. Stop back in a panoramic point where visitors can contemplate the Erg Chebbi as a whole. Stop at Khamlia, people originally from Mali, to relax with a cup of tea while we enjoyed a small concert of gnawa music. Return to the lodge, lunch and afternoon free to climb the dunes and take a romantic sunset. After dinner, we expected a spectacle berber with reels. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel.
Day 4 : Merzouga – Rissani – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate
morning departure to be at the sunrise on the dunes, return by dromedaries , after breakfast, start to the huge palm grove of Tafilalet through Rissani. Way towards Alnif (lunch onthe spot), Tazarine Oasis, N’kob and the Draa Valley. Next, way to Ouarzazate via the small Berber villager named Agdez and the mountains of the Anti-Atlas. Dinner and night in hotel.
Day 5 : Ouarzazate – Marrakech
After breakfast, start to visit ouarzazate Kasbah taourirte and studio movies afternoon depart to marrakech via the atlas mountains and end of the 5 days marrakech to merzouga desert.
