Itinerary: 3 days Marrakech Fes desert trip

DAY 1: MARRAKECH – TIZI -N-TICHKA – AIT BENHADDOU – OUARZAZATE – DADES VALLEY/GORGES

Marrakech Desert Tours 3 Days To Fes, We will pick up you from your hotel/riad/ bus station the we will start our journey from Marrakech to Dades Gorges. Across the Tizi-n-Tichka Atlas pass, with far-reaching views across the mountains, to the traditional High Atlas Berber village of Telouet and we continue to Ait Benhaddou to visit the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou, a spectacular fortified village (Ksour).you’ll take your lunch at Ait benhaddou or ouarzazate and continue to Dades valley, we well spend the night in a riad/hotel in dades gorges.

 

DAY 2: DADES GORGES – TENGHIR – TODRA GORGES – TINJDAD – ERFOUD – MERZOUGA(NIGHT IN DESERT)

Breakfast at the hotel. Depart to the Todra Gorge: a massive fault, rising to 300 m in a narrow valley thickstudded with palmeries and Berber Villages. After lunch in the gorge, get transported further into the desert to Merzouga, stops along the great sand dunes of Erg Chebbiwhere you will take a camel ride (about one hour and a half) in order to get to your Bivouac Tent. (Toilet facilities at the camp.)

 

DAY 3: ERG CHEBBI DESERT – (MERZOUGA) – ZIZ VALLEY – MEDILT – IFRANE – FES

After an early sunrise, we ride the camels back to Merzouga. After taking a shower and having breakfast, we’ll start our journey back to Fes. We will stop along the way to enjoy tea with a nomadic family before passing through the High Atlas Mountains again. We will stop in a town called Midelt, where we’ll have lunch. This town is a very impressive mountain city, located at 1,488 meters above sea level, and is well situated below Jbel Ayachi (3,737 m). In the afternoon, we’ll continue on to the legendary city of Fes. Arrival in Fes marks the end of the trip.
